MKOA is a fully integrated architecture and interior design studio located in Denton, Texas and functioning virtually for regional and remote clientele.
Licensed in the state of Texas, we support a diverse range of clients in the commercial and residential sectors guiding each project toward a refined yet attainable design. In addition to offering full-service architecture and interior design services, MKOA integrates branding, artistry, and site design into each project and can connect you to a strong network of recommended builders, consultants, and artisans.
MKOA specializes in customized service and forward-thinking design for everyday architecture and interior design projects. We guide the project with a positive attitude, working diligently toward excellence, and upholding a high level of service both to our clients and to one another. Morgan M. Kennedy, AIA, is the Principal Architect and Director of Design at MKOA, founded in 2022. Morgan graduated from the Oklahoma State University School of Architecture as the 2015 Caudill Fellow and has practiced across the United States with over a decade of diverse architecture and interior design experience in residential, retail, hospitality, private office, bar and restaurant, community centers, and multi-family.
Morgan has led multiple high-profile projects over her career with one receiving an AIA Award for Interior Architecture and another receiving an AIA Honor Award for Architecture. Morgan runs her design practice, is an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Texas School of Design, and is a wife and mother to her wonderful family.
